Falling Damage

This rule supercedes the PHB falling damage rule of 1d10 per ten feet of falling damage.

Using the DMG (p. 44) classification of fall severity of painful, perilous, deadly, the amount of damage a character takes is a function of its bloodied hp.

Painful Perilous Deadly > Deadly
1/2 of Bloodied HP Bloodied HP Twice Bloodied HP Dead
