I think the key item for Falconer's background is the "Justice" card. This could be a classic crime such as murder or it could be something more subtle like you wooed a king's daughter or you assaulted diplomats or the like. One option is to make you out-lawed in Wilska which is the nearby human kingdom (remember these kingdoms are small, petty chiefdoms, not really full blown kingdoms.) But since you also have the Queen of Swords, you could be outlawed from some place more distant.
An interesting angle might be to have outlawed from the Trionesse forest for some reason. Ophio is technically within the forest but in practice is not so you can lurk there without too much trouble.
You are the only human in the party so you are the only one who isn't a natural fit for Ophio. We need to give you some reason for being there.
Thane is a human ranger who had a wife who was murdered (Figure ability related). After the event, Thane swore to let nobody important to him die again (Figure ability), and chased down the killer. Finally after a year Thane found the killer, through the guidance of the spirit who is his mother (The High Priestess card), and killed him. He was later sent to prison for murder (1/2 of Justice), and spent a lot of time around guards (2 of wands). And during the imprisonment stole a key to a lord's lock-box (3 of Cups). Finally finding a way out of the prison he hid in the Shattered Forest region for years and learned his way around the place, and met plenty of people (Queen of Swords). And was declared an outlaw (2/2 of Justice). Due to being slightly paranoid all the time in the fear of being chased down, he became more alert of his surroundings (Queen of Coins).
Looks good, Coop. he lady of Ophio, Ilastrea, has a thing for outcasts and would not likely turn a ranger away, especially not for avenging his murdered wife. Do you want to fill in the details (find a place on the map where you and your wife lived, determine where you spent time in prison, and your spirit mother?) One possibility for a spirit parent is that you father is Aedric, the founding spirit of Ophio. He was human before he was a spirit. It would make Ilastrea not too fond of you. Alternately, your parent could have been one of the other Ophio area spirits or from a completely different place.
Thane killed a man in Wilska and was held in Tarmad tower for his imprisonment. His key is to Egeria's lockbox. She is the Lady of Tarmad, Wilska's tower controlling the southern approachs on the imperial road.
I think i might just go with my spirit being Aedric, I tried to look up specific beings (spirits that is) and couldn't find to much. So if you don't mind I think I'll just go with what you suggested. Thanks for the recommendation! :)
Aedric is a good fit. Most of the world spirits aren't defined yet; if you had something else in mind, you could just propose it and we will create a spirit that fits.
